Inner Space

Brief 1 - Inner Space

  1. Inner Space * Access to biomedical data is becoming more widespread with a variety of scientific approaches to visualising molecular and anatomical structures. However this data visualisation can be often driven by scientific or purely by a didactic agenda. The core of this brief is to explore alternative arts-led visual aesthetics of biomedical data through 3D CGI visualisation techniques. Using the 3D CGI toolkit you are tasked with developing alternative and experimental modes of visualisation communicating a biomedical concept or process. Drawing from 3D CGI artists such as Drew Berry, you will investigate modes of modelling and visualising scientific data. The intention is to develop your own unique take on the data and the biomedical concept.

I was thinking of showing Endorphins from different perspective.

As a base, I took a 2d chain and tried to visualise it in a different perspective. Wanted it to look bubbly and happy.
